Candice King Candice King, the American actor, became famous as Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries. Candice King first began her acting career in mid 1990s, as a singer. In 2009, she debuted her debut album 'It's Always the Innocent Ones in United States. She composed twelve of the 14 tracks in the album. At the same time, she was pursuing her acting career and guest starring in several shows such as How I Met Your Mother and Greek. Though her career was going steady the big breakthrough eluded her until she got a role for the CW show The Vampire Diaries. The show was almost instantly her famous. Candice earned her fame by her extraordinary acting talents and her outstanding performances. She reprised her role for every season of the series, which ran more than 171 hours. She was also seen playing her recurring role on The spin-off show The Originals in 2018 and Legacies in 2021.
